NEEM OIL : -
We are leading manufacturer and exporters of parker neem oil and neem based products. Parker Neem is an oil-based botanical pesticide consisting of neem oil. Bio-active components of neem eg. Azadirachtin, Salannin, Gedunin, Nimbin, Meliantriol etc have been reported to possess anti-feedant, growth disruption and repellant activities in insects. Most of these compounds are independently active and demonstrate additive effect when present in the same formulation.
PARKER NEEM acts in different ways to protect the crop from insect pests as under: (1) Antifeedant and Repellent; (2) Naturally occuring insect growth regulator (IGR) and (3) Oviposition ***errant.
As an antifeedant, Azadirachtin is quite strong because when the insect eat the neem treated material, they lose their appetite. Hence, the insect will prefer to die of starvation rather than feeding on the treated surface.
Second, PARKER NEEM also has a repellent action I. E. Insects will fly away; therefore they will not eat the treated crops and also not lay eggs in the farm. Hence the future population of insect is reduced.
It interferes with the moulting hormone, therefore the larvae fails to pass on to the next instar and die prematurely. Adult insect avoid laying eggs on azadirachtin treated surface and this way the treated plants escape the attack from the larvae subsequently.
There are rich communities of beneficial insects, spiders, and diseases that attack insect pest. The beneficial species often control insect pests, especially in places where use of broadspectrum pesticides is avoided. Without these beneficial species the insect pests would multiply so quickly that they would completely consume the crop.
Pests have high reproductive capacities to offset the naturally high mortality that they face in nature. For examples, a brown planthopper female produces many offspring, but because of the action of predators, parasites, and diseases, only about 1 or 2 will survive after one generation. It is not unu |
